Position Availability: Available now

Expected Salary: $45,000 – $80,000 (varies by experience)

Role Description
The Leasing Coordinators serve on the Central Walk Leasing team, where together, the goal is to meet
Company Leasing and Specialty Leasing objectives under the stewardship of the Director of Asset
Management. Leasing Coordinators work from the asset’s Administration Office and reports directly to
the Regional Leasing and/or Specialty Leasing Managers. Leasing Coordinators are chiefly in charge of
prospecting new Specialty Leasing opportunities and operating Leasing fieldwork, clericals, and market
studies for the property.

related organizational skills
– detail-oriented, critically thinking problem solver
– must be able to take initiative and work both independently and in a team setting

Prerequisites and Experience

strong willingness to work hard and learn on the job.
– minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in leasing, retail, real estate, commerce, marketing, business
development, or consultation
– Bachelor’s Degree in English, Business Administration, or related an asset
– Secondary languages an asset

Duties and Responsibilities
– Create and manage retail Lease files including Temporary Occupancy legal documentation
– Facilitate the signing of Leases and Temporary Occupancy Agreements as well as the collection
of all relevant supporting material according to prescribed timelines
– Prospect, coordinate, and negotiate potential new specialty leases from the locale and beyond
– Correspond with potential tenants from offer through to lease execution. Design and prepare
leasing packages for potential clients
– As required, evaluate, and monitor various metrics including vacancy, lease execution, lease
expiry, renewals, move in and move out etc.
– Create and maintain tenant lease contact databases and systems for depth charts, new tenant
lead tracking, etc.
– Maintain tenant files, obtain credit information & track written communications following up as
– Assist other departments with interpretation of lease provisions
– Create presentations using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
– Support the property administrative office by occasionally providing office receptionist relief for
breaks, absence, vacation etc.
